Twitter to get a rival soon- THREADS app from Instagram first look revealed

Meta has always tried to provide the best features to its users whether it’s the constant updates of Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp or the addition of new features to these social media handles, the company always lets the users connect in a different and fun way to their family and friends. After the ban on Tik-Tok, many users were disheartened but Meta once again found a solution to grab the attention of its users by introducing reels on Facebook and Instagram.

It appears Mark Zuckerberg has now some bigger plans as Meta has been rumored to be working on a Twitter rival for years. Now it seems like the company is nearing the launch of this rival app as tipster @yabhishekhd has now shared the first look of Twitter’s rival app- Threads.

From the screenshot it can be seen that the users will be allowed to log in to this app through their Instagram ID and the users might keep the username the same as that of Instagram. While users can also follow the same accounts on this new app as they follow on Instagram.

Users will also be allowed to share their thoughts and opinion in a Twitter-style prompt while the other users will be able to like the post, comment on it, and re-share it with comments just like Twitter. Meanwhile, the users will also be able to create a thread and connect over the conversation.

It is still not confirmed when this newly introduced app will be officially released for users whereas Twitter CEO Elon Musk who is known for his witty and sarcastic tweets has still not commented on the arrival of Twitter’s rival app- Threads.
