Washington Sundar ruled out of T20I series against West Indies

Washington Sundar ruled out of the IND v/s WI T20I series. In Friday’s third ODI against West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Team India all-rounder Manish Pandey suffered a left hamstring strain while fielding.
The T20I is going to start at Kolkata from 16th February. Kuldeep Yadav has been named as Washington’s replacement by the All-India Senior Selection Committee.
After a long layoff due to a hand injury sustained on the England tour, Washington returned to competitive cricket in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Initially selected for the South Africa one-day series, he tested COVID positive and was not able to play.

After that, Jayant Yadav was added to the squad.
Washington recently made an impressive comeback in the preceding three-match ODI series against the West Indies, and he was looking to build on that performance in test series against West Indies.
