Are you also facing issue with multi volume control feature after updating Motorola smartphone to Android 12

If you are a Motorola smartphone user you must be aware of its multi-volume control feature that lets you set different volumes for media and applications. Since the users have updated their Motorola smartphones to Android 12 they are facing issues with this feature.

One of the Reddit users U/2SaintsSTC shared his experience and wrote about non-functioning Multi controls for the Moto G30 since he updated his Motorola Moto G30 to Android 12. The user wrote, “The multi-volume controls do not isolate the media from different apps, instead they control the overall media volume”.

In response to this query, Motorola verified that this feature works in the same way as its working. It wrote, “For an app to play on max volume, the general media volume also needs to be on the max level”. It further elaborated “The media volume level will always be the same volume as the highest app volume level.

If YouTube =50% and Spotify=30% the general media volume will be 50%”. And if you will try to reduce the volume of YouTube to 20% it will reduce to 30% to allow Spotify to keep it at 30%. So according to Motorola, it’s not an issue just the way it usually works.
