Bitcoin completes 13 years officially from its launch. The bitcoin whitepaper was released by Satoshi Nakamoto, the alias used by bitcoin’s creator or generators, on October 28, 2008, numerous say its mint date of January 3, 2009 represents the cryptocurrency’s birthday. Bitcoin is now more secure than ever ahead given that the blockchain network’s hashrate has reached an each- time high at209.97 exahashes per second on January 2. The hashrate is an index of the total concerted computational power used to mine and process deals by miners to contend against each other to win the rights to validate the coming block in the Bitcoin blockchain.
