Elon Musk has officially acquired twitter, Guinness World Records Twitter handle welcomes him in a different way, check below
The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, now has control over one of the most important social media platforms. Thanks to his successful acquisition of Twitter, which raises hopes for big improvements in content management.
A settlement has been struck between Twitter and Musk following several months of legal battles. The billionaire pulled the plug on his April takeover efforts in July following allegations that Twitter had exaggerated the size of its user base in its public disclosures.
Twitter immediately launched a lawsuit in the Delaware Court of Chancery to compel Musk to honor the initial offer as retaliation. Early in October, Musk decided to acquire at the original price after originally refusing to do so.
After months of legal wrangling, Musk now has the opportunity to restructure the platform in an effort to increase its profitability and censorship resistance, perhaps by re-allowing former President Donald Trump to use it.
The Washington Post was informed by insiders on Thursday night that Musk has taken over the management of the company. All three of Twitter’s top executives—CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Head of Legal Policy, Trust, and Safety Vijaya Gadde—have been let go. It appears that Gadde significantly impacted the decision to ban Trump from Twitter.
After Musk’s Twitter acquisition, The Guinness World Records Twitter page posted a tweet that said “Hi Mr. Musk”. While many other users got confused regarding the tweet. It was later circulated in the comments that, the Guinness World Records page is welcoming Twitter as he officially owns it.
hi Mr. Musk
