Elon Musk is preparing to launch a twitter like substitute, who wants to join first?

Elon Musk himself revealed that he is thinking of launching a Twitter-like substitute. He is not happy how Twitter is censoring accounts on Twitter. He even went ahead and said this is not democracy as free speech is being censored. He then said I am thinking of starting a new platform where people do have the freedom to say what they want.

So on Saturday, Elon Musk tweeted with an opinion poll. In that poll, he said Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle? To this, a majority of voters said that Twitter doesn’t adhere to free speech.

He even went ahead to show the importance of that poll by saying The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully.

Several accounts have been blocked or either suspended by these tech giants. EVen youtube does the same to censor voices. In a recent interaction, a channel named WION was suspended by Youtube for seven days. According to WION, youtube stated that they have been suspended because they promoted the Russian side. However, WION just showed the interview of both Ukrainian and Russian ministers. Even that was shown by many media outlets but WION was targeted and their account was suspended for a week.

So Elon Musk had said he is thinking of getting a new platform. According to him, that platform is going to cater to freedom of speech.
