Elon Musk now aims to buy Meta after Twitter, is he?

A few months before Elon Musk bought Twitter a microblogging platform for 44 million US dollars. This was done with the aim of turning the platform into a “Free Speech”

Now there has been a video surfacing on Facebook and Instagram social media platforms. In the video, Elon musk can be seen saying “I predict that I will buy tomorrow the entire META company” adding to it he said, “Facebook and Instagram will be mine too.”

Now due to this people have been thinking that Elon Musk is trying to equip META. But wait, before going any further we would like to inform you that it is a deep fake video that showed Elon musk talking about buying Meta from Mark.

Here is that video

How do we know it’s fake?

If you see the video, it clearly shows that his eyes and lips are not in sync. Plus if he would have said something like this it would be all over the news like in the case of Twitter. Like when he announced he is going to take over Twitter every single news channel reported the same as us.

What are deep fake videos?

Deepfakes are synthetic media in which the likeness of one person in an existing image or video is replaced with that of another. While the act of creating fake content is not new, deep fakes use powerful machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to manipulate or generate visual and audio content that can deceive more easily. Deep learning is used to create deep fakes, and the main machine learning methods involve training generative neural network architectures such as autoencoders or generative adversarial networks (GANs).
