Elon musk shared the proof why he doesn’t want to continue with Twitter $44 billion dollar deal
In the ongoing feud between Elon Musk and Twitter after Elon Musk backed out from acquiring the popular digital social platform, there were rows of accusations by Elon Musk on Twitter’s take on the existence of bots in their platform. Elon Musk backed out from the $44 million deal of buying Twitter, after which Twitter took Musk to the court.
Elon Musk has reported on the presence of bot accounts on Twitter and how Twitter gives pass to the same. On being accused by Twitter on him backing out from the deal, Musk urged Twitter to give him proof of their account verification methods. In recent events, Musk challenged Twitter CEO, Paresh Agrawal for a public debate on the same. Musk also alleged that a considerable percentage of Twitter accounts on the platform are bots. He asserted that on receiving credible proof on the matter by Twitter he would proceed on with the deal in the original terms and conditions.
Recently, Musk shared a screenshot of a verified spam bot account on the platform with Elon Musk’s name. Previously, Musk also put up a poll post on Twitter asking whether less than 5% of Twitter users are bots and a ironic response in the poll justified his alleged statement according to him. Continuing with the same alleged assertions, Musk’s recent comment on a Twitter thread seems to justify his statements on bot presence in Twitter a little more than yesterday.
