Elon Musk today tweeted that he will “pay over $11 billion in taxes this year”

Now the question comes, does Elon Musk not pay taxes? Yes, he does and that also in huge amounts, then what’s the feud about? the Democratic senators wants him to pay more taxes as his ‘fair share’ or ‘stop freeloading off everyone else’.

Earlier this week when Elon Musk was named Person of the Year by Time Magazine, Democratic US Senator Elizabeth Warren took to Twitter to point out that Musk should pay more taxes and stop “freeloading off everyone else”.

The richest man of the World replied to her tweeting, “If you opened your eyes for 2 seconds, you would realize I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year.”

The market value of Tesla soared to more than $1 trillion this year which made it one of the most valuable automakers in the world and its CEO Elon Musk the richest man in the world.

And today, Elon Musk tweeted, “For those wondering, I will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year”.

The affluent smart billionaire is going to pay such a huge amount that can constitute e record payment made to the US Internal Revenue Service. Elon Musk believes that the government does not put its revenue into many productive initiatives on the other hand Musk will use his wealth to take humanity to Mars or make the world more advanced but still, he pays a lot of taxes so the feud must end now.
