Initially, Elon Musk posted two tweets on Twitter, showing his concerns about the decrease in the birth rates in U.S. Consequently, he stated this as the biggest threat to civilization due to which population will collapse. He visualized a line graph about the U.S. total fertility rate from the 1940s to till date.

Consequently, to this post, Elon retweeted, “Past two years have been a demographic disaster”. Accordingly, he said that the US population is in great danger. Earlier, Musk also stated that the world’s environment will be fine even if the total human population doubles.

Rather being economy improvements, the population rate has not yet increased. As of 2020, the U.S. birth rate was 55.8% births per 1,000 women, almost 20 percent decline from the rate of 69.3 in 2007.
