Elon Musk’s transgender daughter wants to drop her last name “Musk”

Elon Musk’s daughter wants nothing to do with him and has filed legal paperwork to drop his renowned last name – in fact, she’s altering her complete name and legally proclaiming her gender identity.

The records were submitted in Los Angeles County by Xavier Musk… at least, that was the name she was given at birth, but now that she is 18, she wants to be known as Vivian Jenna Wilson.

She states in the documents that she wants to be acknowledged as a woman, but the name change isn’t only about her transition; there’s definitely a schism with dear ol’ Dad. “Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or seek to be related to my biological father in any manner, shape, or form,” Vivian says of her name change.

Elon and Vivian have never spoken publicly about their relationship or her transition. However, Elon tweeted in December 2020 that he supports the transgender population, but added, “All these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare.”

Griffin, Vivian’s twin brother, is named after their mother, Canadian author Justine Wilson… who was married to Elon from 2000 to 2008.

Vivian’s name change hearing is scheduled for Friday.
