Chess Champ on Gemini Advanced Introduced

While we have already come across updates concerning this feature – Chess Champ, with a new update shared via the Google Gemini App X handle, the brand has officially introduced it, addressing it as the company’s ‘newest gem’. As mentioned, with Chess Champ, users will be able to compete with Gemini AI in a conversational way. Do note that the feature is currently available on Gemini Advanced web version only.

Speaking more about how it works, users can type in their move on Gemini Advanced using coordinates and the AI model will reply back with both a text and image response, highlighting the move on the generated image. Users will also be able to explore different opening moves, and counter back with Gemini. But, as this feature is still experimental, unexpected responses or outcomes may be generated and Google has asked users to provide their valuable feedback with thumbs-up or thumbs-down to further improve it.
