Google Now Seems to be Testing Coupon Code Display in its Search Results
The California-based tech giant, Google, is now revealed to be testing how coupon codes would be displayed on Google Search results. It has been spotted both on the desktop and mobile view pages of Google Search.
Here’s more about it.
Google Search – Testing Coupon Code Display
We are already aware of how Google keeps on updating and upgrading its services to offer its users a better experience and one of the main areas where we have seen this is with Google Search. Apart from the integration of AI into Google Search, and providing AI Overview results with summarized search results and more details to explore, the addition of features to improve users’ shopping experience was also something significant from the brand’s side.
We have seen features such as deal comparison and price insights previously on Google Search, and it seems that the brand is now testing on how coupon codes would be displayed. The below given screenshots reveal that it will be available both on desktop and mobile view pages, enhancing and assisting in its users’ shopping journeys. To add, from Google Search itself, from what it appears, users would be able to pick out the best coupon that would be providing them better benefits, and then copy the coupon code.
It should be noted that there haven’t been any official updates from Google regarding this feature or the introduction of it to Google Search, and probably it may be announced soon. However, it can be understood that for people who are looking forward to the feature, it will indeed be very helpful.
