Hyundai India only condemns Hyundai Pakistan for publishing Kashmir issue but doesnt take it down
Hyundai India has finally come out with a statement: Hyundai Motor India has been committed to the Indian market for more than 25 years now and we stand firmly for our strong ethos of respecting nationalism.
The unsolicited social media post linking Hyundai Motor India is offending our unparalleled commitment and service to this great country. India is second home to the Hyundai brand and we have zero tolerance policy towards insensitive communication and we strongly condemn any such view.
As part of our commitment to India, we will continue our efforts towards the betterment of the country as well as its citizens.
HYUNDAI.
However, it didn’t go well with the Indians yet. Those who don’t have an idea about this controversy, let us give you a brief about it. Hyundai Pakistan posted an image of solidarity for the freedom of Kashmir from India. This was a major setback for Indians to hear about this news. Afterward, Twitter started trending to boycott Hyundai and many started to show that they are canceling Hyundai car booking after this.
1. Issue Unconditional Apology
2. Unblock every Indian you’ve blocked today
3. Officially admit that Kashmir is Indian— Shashank Shekhar Jha (@shashank_ssj) February 6, 2022
The “politically correct” tone is all over this statement. It could have been a two line statement issuing an apology for brazen posts supporting Pakistani terrorism. Now tell us what action are you going to take against Pakistan Hyundai dealers if you have such a zero tolerance?
