Indians are moving away from Hyundai and now holding Tata, Mahindra as preferred Brands of cars
Recently a controversy erupted as Hyundai Pakistan published a post on their social media platforms that weren’t liked by Indians. They posted a picture showing solidarity towards the freedom of Kashmir from India. This sparked a high emotional run amongst Indians. As Kashmir is an integral part of India.
Indians didn’t like the idea of a car company entering global politics. A lot of users faced backlash from Hyundai itself. As some of the users who were asking questions were being blocked by Hyundai on Twitter.
Some of the users were quick to respond by stating that they will be canceling Hyundai’s best-selling car that is Hyundai Creta. Some even posted tweets regarding the same and said will go to an Indian manufacturer to buy a car.
Hyundai finally came with a form of a letter on their social media handle. This letter stated that they are always committed to the national aspect of the country and will never try to harm it. But even with the apology in hand users were still fighting as the company didn’t condemn the post that was posted by Hyundai Pakistan.
With this amount of backlash will the sales of Hyundai go down and will the dealers of Hyundai stand against the same.
