McDonalds to offer free Lizard inside your coke in India, Read more

A dead lizard was discovered in a cold drink supplied by a McDonald’s store in Ahmedabad, according to a local resident. Bhargav Joshi said his pals and he ordered two burgers and two glasses of Coca-Cola in photos and a video uploaded on Twitter. He claimed that after a few drinks, a small dead lizard floated to the top of the drink.

Joshi posted multiple videos of himself and his pals waiting for the restaurant personnel to take action. He later posted a photo of the restaurant being sealed, along with the words “great work done” by city municipal officials, as well as a photo of a hand-written notice pasted to the restaurant’s glass wall, stating that it had been sealed for public safety and that it would not be allowed to reopen without permission from the municipal office.

‘Macd blocked my account…’ Joshi also tweeted.

One of the several films Joshi published online featured a dead lizard in a glass and a restaurant that appeared to be devoid of workers. ‘There’s a lizard in the Coke,’ says the narrator. For the previous 15 minutes, we have been waiting. No employee has arrived, and no one has responded… (panning to reveal the glass)”

In another video, a buddy can be heard saying that the restaurant personnel did not pay attention to their complaint and merely offered them a Rs 300 refund.

“All the store manager did was offer to refund the cost of the soft drink, which was Rs 300.” Is life worth Rs 300? Another member of the gang added, “I instructed the store manager to drink the same coke and I’ll pay you 500.”

McDonald’s issued an official statement following the event, stating that customer safety and cleanliness are important to them.

According to the statement, “All of our customers’ safety and hygiene are important to us at McDonald’s. Our company’s core values are quality, service, cleanliness, and value. In addition, as part of our Golden Guarantee programme, we’ve introduced 42 strict safety and hygiene guidelines throughout all of our McDonald’s restaurants, including procedures for frequent kitchen and restaurant cleaning and sanitization, among other things. We are investigating the reported occurrence at the Ahmedabad outlet. Despite the fact that we have checked numerous times and discovered nothing improper, we are collaborating with authorities as good business citizens.”
