Meta confirms issue with 2 Billion WhatsApp users to resolve ASAP

Several users across the world rely on services by WhatsApp as it’s less expensive and rather free. Since this morning, people started noticing that they aren’t able to send messages or call through WhatsApp. According to an official statement by Meta, WhatsApp servers are down and will be restored asap. The tech giant also reported that its technicians are already working on the issue to resolve it as several users posted about the outage on WhatsApp.

Downdetetctor also showed the number of users who have reported the issue with WhatsApp not working. According to the data revealed around 29000 people have reported that WhatsApp not working. However, this number would be quite huge as this is only the people who knew about the down detectors.

According to backlink data, in India, alone WhatsApp has around 390 million users using WhatsApp services. In January alone, WhatsApp has a total number of 2 billion users.
