Motorola Still Hasn’t Fixed the Bugs on the Motorola Edge 2022, Including 5G Network Connectivity

A Motorola Edge 2022 user recently took to the Reddit platform to share his worries regarding the smartphone for still having bugs and for not supporting 5G network connectivity.

Motorola devices even if it has changed a lot in terms of their built quality and performance, a user of the Motorola Edge 2022 smartphone has recently posted on the Reddit platform indicating some of the bugs on the device.

Some of the identified issues on the smartphone, as pointed out by the user, include issues related to display, network connectivity, messages, and phone, and the required addition to the camera app.

The Motorola Edge 2022 offers its users a refresh rate of somewhere between 60Hz and 144Hz. This should be changed to something between 90Hz and 120Hz. The display sensitivity also faces a major issue while reading it will zoom on creating problems for its users.

Regarding network connectivity, the smartphone still doesn’t support any 5G bands in order to use T Mobile 5G services. T Mobile has already added some mid-bands to their service and if the device starts supporting one of the bands, users will be able to access 5G network connectivity on their devices.

Issues in the messages app and the phone app are also something that drives its users crazy. The messages app takes a long to update after receiving an SMS and the user will have to close the app and then refresh it in order to update. While dialing a number, the phone often also gets stuck creating issues for its users.

Now one of the additions that should be made to the device is regarding the 1:1 frame in the camera app. Most smartphones support this and are absent in the Motorola Edge 2022. To rely on another app for such a small thing is not an easy option and Motorola will have to add the image ratio in the app.

The user has also mentioned that even if the brand doesn’t update the device to the latest Android 13 operating system, they should fix these bugs and issues which shows the seriousness of all these issues on the Motorola Edge 2022 device.
