Musk Suspends Real Time Location from Twitter: Here’s What We Know
The real time location info of any users on Twitter has been suspended after an incident took place in Los Angeles which involved Lil X, Musk’s son.

A recent tweet by Elon Musk has mentioned that the real-time location of any users currently on Twitter will be suspended. The feature will no longer be available as sharing real time location is like inviting danger.
A recent incident which took place in Los Angeles which involved Musk’s son was the reason for taking such a decision.
Musk has tweeted on how a crazy stalker followed the car in which his son was travelling and later blocked the vehicle and climbed on top of its hood. He has also mentioned that legal actions are being taken against Sweeney & organizations who had supported harm to his family.
Musk claims that sharing real time location is not safe and any person will be able to track you and take you down. Hence it is no longer possible for Twitter to allow the feature on its platform. However sharing the locations in a delayed basis is allowed.
This decision by Musk has been taken all of a sudden and has invited a lot of criticism. Many users have raised their voice to show how Musk is changing the policies of Twitter for his personal needs.
The decision in suspending the real-time location in Twitter is also being taken after the recent incident which involved his son, Lil X.
