Did you ever wish to sit on your couch with your favourite snacks and binge-watch all the Netflix that you want, but never had the chance to do so? Well, good news for you because Netflix is organizing a two-day StreamFest in India where you can watch all the Netflix content for free…
This weekend Netflix would be organizing a two-day event called the Netflix StreamFest in India. During the two days that is, December 5 and 6 Netflix is going to be available for free all across India without even having to enter your credentials. Starting first with India, this fest is a part of a Netflix experiment.
The StreamFest would start on December 5 at 12:01 am and end exactly at 11:59 pm on December 6. To stream Netflix for free, you will have to, first create a free Netflix account. You would not have to enter any payment details for this and you can create the account via its Android app or the browser. For the StreamFest, Netflix will allow one stream in standard definition, and only one user will be allowed to stream from one account. But the entire catalogue of Netflix will be free for all the users.
After you create a Netflix account it also has an option to set a reminder for the fest by providing your email address and phone number. You can stream movies, TV shows and documentaries from any device you like. Casting to bigger screens is also supported. During the StreamFest you will also have access to all of Netflix’s other features like parental controls etc.
Since it is a two-day free Netflix event, it is highly possible to have a surge in traffic, therefore Netflix has come up with plan wherein it will limit the number of people allowed to stream at the same time. In case there is a lot of traffic, the user will be alerted with a message “StreamFest is at capacity.” The user will also be notified as to when they can start streaming again.
So, do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to watch all the Netflix shows and movies that you have ever wanted to watch but could never do so.
