Mumbai Indians weren’t going to let Kishan go except a fight and they had been rapid to combat off Punjab first before going head-to-head in a bidding combat with Gujarat. The bid escalated rapidly with Gujarat pushing Mumbai beyond the 13 Crore mark. Hyderabad then threw their hat into the ring as soon as Gujarat backed out. Mumbai although refused to returned down in spite of the figure rising past the 15 crore mark and subsequently got Ishan Kishan for Rs. 15.25 Crore.
