New Controversy Alert: Ola CEO Bhavesh Aggarwal And Kunal Kamra Online Fight Over Customers Issue
Comedian Kunal Kamra is known for his witty nature and amazing sense of humor whether it’s during a standup show or on his social media channels. But from yesterday the comedian has been a part of numerous headlines due to a verbal spat with Ola CEO Bhavesh Aggarwal on X platform. Let’s dive in to learn what this new E-lafda is all about.
It all started yesterday when the comedian posted an image of an Ola dealership with a large number of Ola scooters standing on its front, probably lined up for servicing.
Do indian consumers have a voice?
Do they deserve this?
Two wheelers are many daily wage workers lifeline…@nitin_gadkari is this how Indians will get to using EV’s? @jagograhakjago any word?
Anyone who has an issue with OLA electric leave your story below tagging all… https://t.co/G2zdIs15wh pic.twitter.com/EhJmAzhCmt— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 6, 2024
He also tagged Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and @jagograhakjago on his post. While the comedian also urged people to post their issue if they have with OLA Electric. This did not stop there, as when people started posting about their complaints, Kamra reposted them questioning the responsibility of Ola CEO Bhavesh Aggarwal and also stated, “Worse is the leader has no reply. ”
Worse is the leader has no reply. Ola an indian company is treating India Costumers how fly by night Chinese companies treat the entire continent of Africa…
Shame @bhash https://t.co/s1vHqz4ATz— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 6, 2024
These posts not only gained a lot of attention from users online but also from Ola CEO he replied by tagging the comedian that the post by Kamra was a paid one while the CEO also offered Kunal Kamra to “come and help us out I’ll even pay more.. ”
Since you care so much @kunalkamra88, come and help us out! I’ll even pay more than you earned for this paid tweet or from your failed comedy career.
Or else sit quiet and let us focus on fixing the issues for the real customers. We’re expanding service network fast and backlogs… https://t.co/ZQ4nmqjx5q

This obviously escalated the online spat as Kamra claimed that if the CEO could prove that his earlier post was paid or anything else he spoke against private companies earlier, he would delete his social media. Not only this since the CEO mentioned the comedian’s failed career he also shared a clip of a surprise visit to a show where he received an amazing response from the audience.
On my failed comedy career here’s a clip from last year when I surprised an audience & opened for Grover…
Anything else you arrogant, substandard, prick @bhash pic.twitter.com/e7bQzVcCrT— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 6, 2024
This online exchange of bitter words didn’t stop and the CEO again mocked the comedian for coming to the service center and he would get paid more than his shows to which Kunal Kamra asked the CEO to instead give a total refund to anyone who wanted to return their Ola EV and who has purchased it in last 4 months. He also mentioned some alternative refund options if a total refund is not possible.
So you can’t offer a 100 percent refund to people who have purchased your OLA in the last 4 months who are genuine customers…
But you want to pay me who’s not a costumer.let me give you other options.
Can you do 85 percent refund for 1/ 2 months?
Can you do 75 percent… https://t.co/iYyHFAOmz3

After this post, many memes were created for the above post and also for this onion online fight as you can see below-
To this post the CEO replied, Comedian ban na sake, Chaudhary banne chale. He once again challenged Kamra to come to the service center and work.
Comedian ban na sake, chaudhary banne chale.
Do your research better next time. And the offer to come and help us out in our service center remains open. Take up the challenge. Maybe you’ll learn some real skills for a change. https://t.co/4KekvB5Qbu

Kunal Kamra even shared an article about Ola EV complaints increasing and urged the journalist not to report this and instead work with the company mocking about Ola CEO’s offer to him.
Dear Journalist don’t report work with OLA factory to be a part of the solution… pic.twitter.com/1eQ2VnUiSI
— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 6, 2024
He also asked the CEO whether he could solve issues of every Ola complaint to date before 10th November 2024. Not only this, when Smita Prakash, who is an Indian Journalist, posted in support of CEO Bhavesh Aggarwal mentioning, “Going after wealth creators in India is a movement in which Jaichands of the country are hard at work. ” She also urged the users to back the job creators. To this Kamra sarcastically replied.
So the wealth & job creator is Indian but the Lakhs of customers having issues with the product & service’s are from Uzbekistan… https://t.co/8ZuF8DV1wn
