The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, OnePlus, launched its flagship 13 smartphone this year in the month of October 2024, and in the same month, the brand also unveiled a few protective cases for the device – Polar Wood (Brown/Black), Geometric Aramid Fiber, and Classic Sandstone.
The OnePlus Accessories Product Manager Mai Jieen has now taken it to the Weibo platform, sharing more about the Polar Wood Protective Case that has been designed for the brand’s latest flagship phone and also addressing the questions of consumers.

OnePlus 13 – Polar Wood Protective Case
This time’s Polar Wood Protective Case for the OnePlus 13 smartphone was planned by Mai Jieen herself, the OnePlus Accessories Product Manager, and so far many positive comments have been shared about it. The brand has been launching wooden protective cases since the OnePlus 3 device, and the bond between nature and technology for the brand began from or can be traced back to the OnePlus 1 Limited Bamboo Edition. With the latest Polar Wood Protective Case, it is said that new explorations have been made in terms of the texture and feel of wood.
Speaking more, the new OnePlus 13 Polar Wood Protective Case is made out of solid materials, meaning it is made from actual wood, and only a limited number of units pass the internal quality tests. The effort taken with respect to the making process is also intense, and wood selection, peeling, and drying are some of the important steps involved. It is then polished into ultra-thin sheets, not just to prevent cracking but also to offer protective capabilities. Finally with the hot-press, the Polar Wood Protective Case takes its final shape.
In comparison to the other cases available in the market, the officially made Polar Wood Protective Case undergoes a lot of rigorous tests, ensuring both quality and durability.
