OnePlus finally compensates the user whose device exploded just after six days of purchase
At the beginning of May, there was a case reported in which a guy named Vipul purchased OnePlus Nord 2T, and just after six days while he was riding his bike the newly purchased smartphone exploded within his pocket. Definitely shocking and traumatizing news for all the users out there.

Vipul suffered some burn injuries and was admitted to the hospital, later it was revealed that he is in perfect health. But the explosion of the device was not the only shocking news, when Vipul contacted to OnePlus’ customer service they said that the user was responsible for the explosion and not the company. This response was shocking to everyone out there and many raised questions like is this what happens to the customer who trusts a reliable company?
Many social media teams, users, and tech enthusiasts like @Trolling_isart came out in support of Vipul which resulted in catching the attention of OnePlus itself. As later the company contacted the user and apologized on behalf of the technician who had tested the smartphone, not only this they also accepted that there was something from their end and were ready to give him a new OnePlus Nord 2T and his medical expenses.
Recently @Trolling_isart shared that the user has received his OnePlus Nord 2T as well as his 7K compensation. Though his medical costs exceeded 15,000 he was not given the whole amount. The Twitter user also shared his chats with Vipul including his hospital bill.

Though this incident definitely showed how the carelessness of a smartphone company can cause harm to his life the collective support by many users and enthusiasts helped Vipul in getting his compensation which he rightfully deserved and was earlier not accepted by the company.
