Redmi Note 10 Pro User Faces Camera Dead Issue; Asked To Pay Around Rs 12k
Back in 2023, many Redmi Note 10 series users faced camera dead issues and motherboard dead issues on their devices and reported their issues online. These issues caught the attention of Xiaomi, and the company extended the warranty for Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and POCO X3 Pro devices to 2 years for users facing an issue with the dead front camera or dead motherboard so that they could get it fixed for free.
Well, this extended warranty did act as a cure for these issues but was not a permanent solution as the users continue to face these issues. Recently a user named @MurZiii on the X platform is facing a dead camera issue on the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
So this issue is happening with my redmi note 10 pro where the camera is dead just like many users had faced in the past but they got the motherboard replaced free of cost from @RedmiIndia . Now that today i am facing the same issue i am being charged around 12k for the same.

The user complained that many users who faced this issue in the past got the motherboard replaced free of cost from the company but the user is being charged around Rs 12k for the same. Further in the comment section, it was also mentioned that the user had a conversation with an associate from Redmi India’s Twitter handle, where he was told that the device is out of warranty therefore he needs to pay to get this issue fixed.
In the comment section, there was another Redmi Note 10 Pro user who mentioned that he had a similar experience where his 1 year 15 days old Redmi Note 10 Pro was completely dead and he was also asked to pay Rs 12k for repair even though it was not his fault. To this, the affected user expressed his frustration with the brand not considering customer satisfaction while he also appreciated OnePlus’s recent announcement to offer lifetime replacement for their green line screens.
