This is what happened when Chinese Xpeng EV used Tesla’s stolen autopilot technology
A video is surfacing on various social media platforms and YouTube in which the Chinese I3 series Xpeng EV car can be seen. The driver in the video is driving the car using Autonomous Driving mode. At the beginning of the video, the car is running smoothly but as soon as it comes closer to another vehicle it becomes hard for the driver to avoid a collision without manual control. The car itself tried to change lanes but the same proximity issue came and the driver had to take control.

According to some reports this car uses stolen autopilot technology from Tesla. Reports say that a former Tesla employee stole it and gave it to Xpeng. The company not only tried to incorporate it in its new EV in the best way but also introduced some additional features but the results were not convincing enough for the customers. When this car was first launched, the company invited journalists to the launch event for its test drive. Though the company claims so many things about this EV, the video is enough to show the reality.
