It appears that Facebook/Instagram is currently experiencing a Global outage, with several users unable to log in to their accounts. This has led to frustration among users, who are turning to other social media platforms in search of information about the outage.
I also encountered the issue when attempting to log in, receiving a message stating that my session had expired. Upon trying to log back in, I was unable to do so. As a last resort, I attempted to reset my password. However, upon trying to do so, I received a message indicating that Facebook is undergoing required maintenance and should be back online shortly.
As of now, there has been no official update from the tech giant regarding the cause of the outage. Upon checking X, I noticed numerous users reporting Facebook is Down, such as sessions expiring and being unable to log in.

I also checked Facebook’s X profile, but the last message posted there was from October 2023. So, for now, let’s wait and see what the tech giant has to say about this outage. You can continue to follow this link for updates.

Upon checking, Facebook is back online again, and so as Instagram. However, if you try to sign in from your mobile, it may send a verification notification on your other device. And that is how I was able to log back in again.
