Why Bernie Sanders is having a feud with Elon Musk?; Details Inside
In his latest back-and-forth with self-described democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, Tesla CEO Elon Musk dismissed Sanders’ demands that the wealthy “pay their fair part.”
Musk tweeted to Sanders on Sunday morning, “I keep forgetting that you’re still alive.”
The post was in response to Sanders’ Saturday tweet, in which he stated, “We need to insist that the super-rich pay their fair share. Period.”
Musk has a net worth of $294 billion dollars.
Musk’s tweet elicited no instant response from Sanders’ press office, according to The Tech Outlook.
On Twitter, the two have previously feuded about taxes, with Sanders saying in March that Musk should “concentrate on Earth” rather than space travel and figuring out “a progressive tax system.”

“We are living in a time in American history when two men, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, hold more money than the lowest 40% of the population. That amount of selfishness and inequity is not only unethical but also illegal. It can’t go on forever “On March 18, Sanders sent out a tweet.
Musk, who also owns the aerospace firm SpaceX, later tweeted that he is using his fortune to help humanity explore space.
On March 21, Musk tweeted, “I am accumulating resources to help make life multi-planetary and extend the light of consciousness to the stars.”
“Space travel is a fascinating concept, but for the time being, we must concentrate on Earth and develop a progressive tax structure to ensure that children do not go hungry, people do not become homeless, and all Americans have access to healthcare. Inequality in America is disgusting, and it poses a threat to our democracy “Sanders retaliated.
