Why does Elon Musk believe that the Declining World Population is a Serious Issue for Human Civilization? Check it out!
While most of the good educated people consider growing population to be threat to humanity, the smart billionaire Elon Musk believes its a necessity. According to him, declining birth rates and population is one of greatest risks to human civilization.
The richest man of the World, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk has committed his life to take humanity to Mars with SpaceX and in order to make human civilization multiplanetary, the world needs a lot of people. Musks is going to raise the space for humanity by leading them to Mars but for that to work, the first need is enough humanity.
Pranay Pathole, a machine learning engineer of Tata Consultancy Services made a tweet today, “The world’s population is set to decline starting in the next few decades. This is very serious issue. Many people think that overpopulation is the issue when in reality it’s the opposite. Mars currently has 0 humans. We need a lot of people to make life multiplanetary” mentioning Elon Musk. The billionaire Elon Musk agreeing to him tweeted, “Absolutely.”
Elon Musk has always been an advocate of the population growth and believes that reduction in world population will lead to catastrophic effects on humanity. He also expresses his belief in his tweets time to time by saying that there are not enough people on Earth as Mars has zero population and in order to allow human life to Mars, there is a need of more humans.
In July, he also tweeted, “Population collapse is a much bigger problem than people realize and that’s just for Earth. Mars has a great need for people seeing as population is currently zero, Humans are the custodians of other life on Earth. Let us bring life to Mars.”
Nowadays, people are pessimistic towards natalism which makes them to have fewer or no children. But if people will stop having children which will lead to further decline in the fertility rate and in Musk’s words, it will crumble human civilization.
