Xiaomi 13 Ultra secured a position among the top part of the DXOMARK camera ranking

Chinese company Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone Xiaomi 13 Ultra is preparing for its near launch this month in the global market. Recently we reported about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra receiving Bluetooth SIG certification and its global launch date. This smartphone has already been unveiled in China suggesting it’s advanced mobile photography. Xiaomi has emphasized on camera and announced its professional camera kit to make the Xiaomi 13 Ultra more of a DSLR replacement.

Ranking and score

Xiaomi has partnered with Leica to develop the camera of Xiaomi 13 Ultra which will be giving cutting-edge competition to smartphones in the global market. Recently DXOMARK, known for camera testing, shared a tweet in which it mentioned that Xiaomi 13 Ultra has secured itself a position among the top part of the DXOMARK camera ranking. Its official website reveals that Xiaomi 13 Ultra is 14th in the global ranking and 14th in the ultra-premium ranking. This smartphone’s overall camera score is 140 out of 156.

The score of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is less than Xiaomi 11 Ultra in DXOMARK camera rating. If we talk about its subscores it has managed to score 138 out of 159 in photo, 65 out of 80 in Bokeh camera, and 147 out of 158 in Zoom. DXOMARK mentioned it’s the tweet that the smartphone camera score benefitted especially from its ” remarkable results in the zoom category and impressive combination of four camera modules”.

Camera capabilities of Xiaomi 13 Ultra

This smartphone comes with a quad camera setup on the rear featuring a 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP camera along with a 3D depth sensor. The front side of the smartphone sports a 32 MP selfie camera.
