YouTube seems to be nonstop scam ads a new statement made by the billionaire Elon Musk.
On YouTube, a fraudulent cryptocurrency scam has been airing adverts promising “large profits” for investors, bolstering its credentials with fake endorsements from Elon Musk and Hollywood actor Daniel Craig.
Similar crypto frauds have previously been discovered circulating on Facebook, AOL, and MSN, according to a consumer rights investigation by Which? Scams have resulted in losses of up to £200,000 ($260,000) for individuals.
After financial writer Martin Lewis sued Facebook last year for false ads using his name and likeness, the social media company agreed to set up a new $4 million anti-scam section.
Yes, we all have been there as YouTube has turned itself into an ads platform rather than a video platform. Whenever you try to watch a video, an ad is being displayed first. Earlier it was skippable ads but now Google has made it harder to skip ads. The new ad format is non-skippable. That means you will have no choice but to watch it irrespective.
Elon Musk has been vocal about his ideas and when he criticises you it means he wants something better out of you. He tries his best to give feedback irrespective of how bad it is.
