Google is allegedly ready to add another member to its Pixel 7 series with the new Google Pixel 7 Mini. The Google Pixel 7 series was launched on October 7th this year, quickly after which Google announced the upcoming of other Pixel devices as well.

On the same day, the company also confirmed the Google Pixel tablet, which is in the works and will be unveiled in 2023. The arrival of the Google Pixel Foldable is yet to be confirmed and rumors of the Google Pixel 7 Mini are spreading in the tech world.

The devices that Google is reportedly working on, have the codenames Lynx and Felix. The Lynx device is the one that is rumored to be the new Google Pixel 7 Mini. The shortened codename for The Lynx is L10. The Felix is rumored to be the codename of the Google foldable phone.

Speculations:-

In July, Kuba Wojciechowski, an android researcher, claimed that the Lynx could be the third high-end Pixel phone for this year. He also speculated that the new Google Pixel 7 Mini model will have the same camera as the Samsung GN1 main camera and the Sony IMX787 camera.

For the front camera, the device will consist of a Sony IMX712 camera with two Sony IMX712 sensors. The camera in the back will be an ultra-wide snapper on the back.

The phone will include the processor of Qualcomm’s Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth chip (WCNG6740). The Broadcom BCM4389 chip is also available in both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series. The new Lynx phone will also support wireless charging.

Quick features:-

  • Refresh Rate: 120Hz
  • Resolution: Full HD+ 1440 x 3210 pixels

It is also rumored that the device may have a codename of “Neila” which is making a lot of confusion and it is unclear whether Lynx or Neila are both the same device.
