The Redmi 10A is sold in India with the tagline “Desh Ka Smartphone” and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 chipset. The Redmi 10 is powered by Snapdragon 680 based on 6nm processor. Redmi 10 also has a primary clock speed of 2.4 GHz while the Redmi 10A has a slightly lesser clock speed of 2 GHz.
Display
Redmi 10A features a 6.53 inch HD+ display which is also certified by TÜV Rheinland. Redmi 10 has a larger HD+ display than the Redmi 10A with a screen size of 6.71 inch. It is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Camera
The Redmi 10A has a basic 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Redmi 10 on the other hand has a much better camera with a 50MP + 2MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front.
Sensors
Both the devices have a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.
Battery
Redmi 10A has a 5000 mAh battery backup while the Redmi 10 has a better battery backup of 6000 mAh. Both the devices comes with a 10W fast charger in the box. The Redmi 10 can also support fast charging of upto 18W.
Price
The Redmi 10 is listed on Mi shopping website at a price of Rs. 11.999 while the Redmi 10A has a much budget friendly price of Rs. 8,999.
Both the phones as mentioned are priced at an affordable price without compromising on its features. However the Redmi 10 eventhough if its priced Rs. 3000 more than the Redmi 10A offers better camera and battery.
So if price doesn’t bother you, go for the Redmi 10 otherwise choose the budget friendly ” Desh Ka Smartphone” – Redmi 10A.
