Sony’s Premium Range Of XR TVs Feature BRAVIA CORE, What is BRAVIA CORE?

BRAVIA CORE was launched along with Sony’s 2021 range of its premium 4K TVs. BRAVIA CORE is a 4K streaming video service that will come built into every TV in its premium XR TV range, including the most recent 2023 lineup of TVs from Sony.

The BRAVIA CORE offers some additional bonus content via its Studio Access special features, which include behind-the-scenes and interviews with the cast and crew.

In the BRAVIA CORE, new and classic blockbuster movies are there. Users can choose the BRAVIA CORE credits to choose what to watch with up to 4K HDR quality. With BREVIA CORE, users are subscribed to a vast selection of movies to stream anytime and as many times as they like in the top-level visual quality.

The BRAVIA CORE features Pure Stream, which can stream HDR movies at up to 80 Mbps, which is similar to 4K UHD Blu-ray, on a wide range of content. This means a more significant amount of detail, color, and contrast than conventional 15-25 Mbps streaming content.

BRAVIA CORE claims to have one of the largest libraries of IMAX-enhanced films just as they were made by the creators in the format with its own signature picture, sound, and scale.

It utilizes IMAX’s proprietary Digital Media Remastering technology to reduce noise and grain and creates the best pictures for brighter and better displays.

For non-IMAX Enhanced movies, there’s the Bravia Core Calibrated Mode. This mode will automatically tweak picture settings to bring them as close to the creator’s intended vision of the movie.
