Here’s How to Self Diagnose Your Galaxy Watch

The recent update of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 had brought two new features and one among them is the self diagnose feature through the Samsung Members app. So the first thing the user should do is to ensure that their Galaxy Watch is running on the latest firmware.

The users should also make sure that their apps including the Samsung Members and the Galaxy Wearables are also up to date.

With the latest update of the Samsung Members app, users will be able to find the “Connected Device Diagnosis” menu inside the “Help Tab” at the bottom of the screen. Users must also make sure that their Galaxy Watch is connected with their smartphone as well.

After selecting the “Connected Device Diagnosis” menu, users will be able to find their connected device on the screen from where you will be able to select the device for diagnosis. The diagnosis software will have to be installed at the first time and users will be able to diagnose their device after installing the software.

The “Self Diagnose” menu includes options for checking the battery status, for new updates, to know about the device restart status, about the WiFi, regarding the sensors, the touchscreen, working of the button, speaker, mic, vibration, to find location accuracy, to check the wireless charging, and also about the wear detection.

Users will have to select the “Battery Status” option to know about the battery health of their Galaxy Watch. After diagnosis, the battery health of your device will be displayed with the possible changes that can be made.

The other options can also be selected to check for other issues, however some of the options will require authentication from the Galaxy Watch.
