Speaking of the performance of the two smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the Exynos 2200(4 nm) chipset falls a little back in its performance when compared with the Motorola Edge Plus 2022 smartphone. However the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1(4 nm) Chipset that is equipped in the Motorola smartphone and will offer the same performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a slightly larger screen size of 6.8 inches when compared to the Motorola smartphone which has a 6.7″ OLED display. The Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a better screen resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels. However the Motorola Edge Plus 2022 comes with a better refresh rate of 144Hz which would be much more appealing to the gamers out there.

Now about the cameras, the Motorola smartphone has a better selfie camera of 60MP whereas the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 40MP front facing camera. However the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra offers its users a better 108MP quad camera setup on its rear while the Motorola smartphone only has a 50MP triple camera setup.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone also has a slightly better battery backup of 5000 mAh whereas the Motorola smartphone only has a 4800 mAh battery. When looking at the fast charging features of the two devices, the Motorola Edge Plus 2022 supports a 68W fast charging feature which is much faster than the 45W fast charging feature offered in the Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone.

So comparing the two devices, it is quite difficult to decide which among them is the best as both the smartphones have their pros and cons.

The performance of the two smartphones are the same(except for the Exynos variant of Samsung Galaxy smartphone) so that needn’t be discussed but if you want a better screen resolution, a better rear camera and a better battery backup, then the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra would be a better choice. If you are a gamer, or a person who would need faster refresh rates and a better selfie camera, then probably you should pick the Motorola Edge Plus 2022 smartphone.
