Both smartphones have a lot of differences in terms of some of their specs, making it really difficult to title one of them the best.

Based on the performance, the Motorola Edge 40 smartphone, which is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, offers a better performance than the Reno 8T 5G smartphone from OPPO powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset.

For the displays, the Reno 8T has a larger 6.7″ AMOLED display, while the Edge 40 features a 6.55″ P-OLED display panel. Even if the two have almost the same screen resolutions, the Motorola smartphone supports a fast refresh rate(144Hz).

Coming to the cameras, the OPPO device sports a 108MP triple camera setup and the Motorola smartphone has a 50MP dual camera unit. The additional cameras of the two are entirely different. The Reno 8T comes with two 2MP(microscope & depth) cameras, whereas the Edge 40 offers a 13MP ultrawide angle camera for its users. To add, both the devices have 32MP front cameras.

Finally, to the battery backups, the Motorola and the OPPO smartphones are backed by 4400 mAh and 4800 mAh batteries, respectively. The two have similar wired fast charge support, but the OPPO device supports a reverse wired charging feature and the Motorola smartphone has a 15W wireless charging support.

So as stated, there are certain places where the specs are drastically different when the two are compared, making the comparison and further titling one of them as the best, almost not possible or very hard.

If we look at the Motorola smartphone, the device has a better processor, supports a faster refresh rate, has 13MP ultrawide lens, and supports a 15W wireless charging feature. On the other hand, the Reno device has a larger display panel, a 108MP main camera, a larger 4800 mAh battery, and a reverse wired charging feature.
