Realme GT Neo 5 claimed to be world’s fastest charging smartphone by a user

Realme launched the Realme GT Neo 5 in China on February 9, 2023, in two variants – 150 W fast charging and 240 W fast charging. This smartphone has gained a lot of attention and praise due to its fast-charging technology.

A user on Twitter claimed Realme GT Neo 5 to be the world’s fastest-charging smartphone. The user posted a video on their account which showed that it took only 4 minutes to charge the smartphone up to 50%.

This was surely something new for smartphone users as this will be the first time when you can charge your device to 100% in less than 10 minutes. Also according to the Realme lab charging test report, the phone heats up no more than 10 degree Celsius and can withstand 1600 charges from 0 percent to 100 percent while retaining 80 percent of its capacity.

Realme GT Neo 5: Specifications

The phone has made its debut in the Chinese market. It has a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. It packs up a triple rear camera set up of 5OMP+8MP+2MP. It comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery. The device runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 . The phone also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, and a USB Type-C port.
