Based on the overall specifications of the two smartphones, the previous OnePlus 11R device has turned out to be the better smartphone device.
Firstly, the OnePlus 11R has a better and faster performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset when compared to the Exynos 1480 processor on the Galaxy A55. A larger 6.74″ Fluid AMOLED display screen supporting a higher resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels is also an advantage of the OnePlus 11R device.
However, when it comes to the cameras, both the devices have 50MP triple rear camera units, but the Galaxy A55 has better 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro lenses. On the other hand, the OnePlus 11R occupies 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro camera sensors at the rear. The selfie camera of the Galaxy A55 is also the best and it is a 32MP front-facing camera. The OnePlus 11R only has a 16MP front camera.
Regarding the battery specs, the OnePlus 11R beats the Galaxy A55 in terms of the fast charging capability with a 100W wired fast charging feature, while the Galaxy A55 supports only a 25W wired charging spec. Do note, that the two are backed by the same 5000 mAh capacity batteries.
So as mentioned, the OnePlus 11R is indeed the better smartphone when it comes to the overall specifications. But, if the user prefers a good camera phone, the Galaxy A55 would have to be considered.
