Alleged Honor Magic 6 RSR spotted on MIIT certification website; launch seems imminent
The smartphone brand Honor officially unveiled it’s latest Honor Magic 6 series and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche design last month in it’s home country China. In December 2023, Honor confirmed it’s partnership with Porsche design studio and it was expected that the company will be launching Magic 6 Porsche design but instead the company introduced Magic V2 RSR Porsche design foldable device in China.
Well seems like after the launch of Honor Magic 6 series, Honor is now gearing towards the launch of Honor Magic 6 RSR model. This is because a new Honor device with model number BAL-AN20 has been spotted on MIIT certification website and this mysterious device is expected to be the Honor Magic 6 RSR smartphone.
The above listing reveals that the upcoming device will be supporting 5G and satellite connectivity.
Honor Magic 6 RSR: Specifications (expected)
The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It may feature 6.8 inch curved OLED display that is equipped with LTPO technology. It could feature one-inch OmniVision OV50K 50MP camera sensor. It may be backed by 5600 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
The launch timeline of this device is yet known but as per few reports, Honor Magic 6 RSR could debut in the month of March. Although we do need to wait for the official confirmation regarding the launch timeline and specs of this upcoming device.
