Purported Redmi Note 13 Turbo with new Snapdragon chip may launch in March
In September 2023, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ in the Chinese market. Later, the brand also announced the Note 13R and Note 13R Pro for the Chinese market. A new leak, courtesy of Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu, reveals that the brand is now working on a new Redmi Note series phone. He also shared some details about the chipset and launch timeframe of the mysterious device.
Without mentioning the final marketing name of the upcoming Redmi Note series phone, the leaker claimed that it will feature a new mid-tier Snapdragon chipset. As per reports, Qualcomm is working on two chipsets with SM7675 and SM8635 model numbers. The chipsets could be the rumoured Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and a Snapdragon 8-series chip.
As far as the name of the device is concerned, it could be called the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. It is expected to succeed the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2-powered Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which went official in March 2023 exclusively for the Chinese market. The same device was rebranded as the Poco F5 5G for the global market. Hence, it is speculated that the Note 13 Turbo may get rebranded as the Poco F6 5G globally.
The new leak also reveals that the purported Redmi Note 13 Turbo will debut in March. There is a possibility that the Poco F6 5G may debut in early Q2 in the global market.
