Antarctica melting ice may become the reason for the next extinction of the human race
There is a serious issue that is haunting the scientist’s that the Antarctica’s melting ice may become the reason for extinction of human race from the earth.
Scientists are concerned that the way the ice caps are melting, the changes will be irresponsible. A new study also shows that 34 million old ice sheet and this process will take a long time even the end of the century.
However, the global rise in temprature by 2 degress it will not regain its original size again. Antarticas ice sheet is larger than the soze of US and Mexico combined. It also hold around 90% of the earths ice and 70% of the fresh water on earth.
The rise in temperature has also contributed towards the melting of the ice, also this year the ice reached an annual low of 3.74 million KM square. So far 120 countries have contributed towards zero greenhouse gas emissions along with 1000 businesses and 452 cities.
