Asteroid expected to pass close to Earth right before Election Day: Details Inside
An asteroid identified as 2018VP1 has been spotted on a collision course with Earth and is expected to come very close to the planet on November 2, according to NASA data
According to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the asteroid was first identified at Palomar Observatory in California in 2018.
The US space organization said there are three potential impacts. However, “based on 21 observations”, the asteroid probably won’t have a deep impact.
The space agency has even found that there is only a 0.41% chance that the celestial body will enter the Earth’s atmosphere, CNN reported.
