Black Moon to occur on April 30 2022
The first of two solar eclipses in 2022 will occur on April 30.
Astronomers have termed this solar eclipse a ‘Black Moon,’ a fascinating phenomenon associated with some solar eclipses.
This Surya Grahan (solar eclipse) is classified as partial by astronomers. India will experience nighttime during the Surya Grahan period.
The eclipse occurs when the sun is shining on the opposite side of the earth, so the solar eclipse on April 30th can only be seen from a few places on the planet that do not include India.
From an astrological standpoint, solar and lunar eclipses are significant events. There are common dos and don’ts that astrological and religious texts advise their followers to follow.
The sun is the primary source of all energy and life on Earth. Eclipses in general, and solar eclipses in particular, can have varying effects on different zodiac signs.
A solar eclipse can only occur on a New Moon Day (No Moon Day). According to NASA, the Moon will block some of the sun’s rays before and during sunset on April 30, resulting in a partial eclipse. This type of eclipse is known as a ‘Black Moon.’
A ‘Black Moon’ is a rare type of event that occurs during a solar eclipse, and we will not see one in 2021. However, ‘Black Moon’ is not an official term.
According to SPACE.com, the term “black moon” can be defined in a variety of ways. The majority of definitions, however, associate this term with the New Moon. This is due to the fact that the Moon is always black during the New Moon phase.
