Have a look at the night time photo looking across Mediterranean Sea captured by ISS

The International Space Station (ISS) took a nighttime photo while orbiting 261 miles above Earth, looking across the Mediterranean Sea from north Africa to southern Europe. From the bottom center to the upper right, the city lights of Algiers, Algeria to Tunis, Tunisia highlight Africa’s northern coast.

The lights of city-state Monaco to Naples, Italy define the southern European coastline from far left to right. Corsica, a French island, and Sardinia, an Italian island, are also depicted. Every 90 minutes, the ISS circles the Earth at a speed of about 17,500 miles (28,000 km).

The International Space Station is a massive spacecraft that orbits the Earth. It serves as a residence for astronaut and cosmonaut crews. The space station also serves as a one-of-a-kind science laboratory. Several nations collaborated to build and operate the space station. The space station is made up of components assembled in space by astronauts. It orbits the Earth at an altitude of about 250 miles. It has a top speed of 17,500 mph. It orbits the Earth every 90 minutes. NASA is learning more about living and working in space by using the space station. These lessons will allow humans to travel further into space than ever before.
