India successfully test-fired N-Capable Agni Prime Missile on Saturday
Agni-P ’ is a recent generation evolved variant of Agni class of missiles.
Today, India has successfully tested the Agni Prime missile off the coast of Odisha in Balasore. Several new aspects have been enhanced in the Nuclear-Capable Agni-P missile. The test was performed at 11:06 am off the APJ Abdul Kalam island. This was the second trial of the Agni-P missile.

- Agni Prime missile has a range potential of between 1000 and 2000 km.

- The Agni P is a two-stage canisterised strong propellant ballistic missile with double redundant navigation and direction system.

Shri Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister of India congratulated DRDO for the prosperous flight times and conveyed his gratification for that escape before base of the system.
Dr G Satheesh Reddy, Chairman of DRDO comprehended the efforts of the team members for the successful second trial and complimented for the successive achievement within the same year.
