The heavenly event in India will begin at 1:04 PM and finish at 5:22 PM. At 3:13 PM, the lunar eclipse will be at its height. This one like the previous lunar eclipse, will not be apparent in India either, since it will be below the horizon. The duration of the next lunar eclipse, which was visible for two hours and 45 minutes, is longer than the last one.
The last penumbral lunar eclipse of 2020 will be seen in several parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, South America, the Pacific and the Atlantic, as per Timeanddate.com. The visibility will depend on the conditions of the atmosphere as well. It might not be necessary for sky-gazers to observe the phenomenon at all if it is overcast and foggy.
We observed three lunar eclipses in 2020, which occurred on January 10, June 5 and July 4. They were both Penumbral Lunar Eclipses. This year there were no total or partial lunar eclipses.
This year a total of six eclipses are expected to take place. Just one lunar eclipse will remain until November 30. Two weeks later, on December 14, the solar eclipse is scheduled to occur.
