PEE PEE problem for Elon Musk’s SpaceX Dragon crew as Toilet onboard broke down, Astronauts relying on Undergarments

According to reports, the toilet on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spaceship will be out of commission for four astronauts flying back to Earth in November.

According to CNN, NASA astronauts on the Crew-2 mission returning from the International Space Station (ISS) will have to rely on “underwear” instead, according to Steve Stich, the agency’s commercial crew program manager.

According to Morgan Mcfall-Johnsen of Insider, astronauts on the Crew-2 mission discovered a leak in the Crew Dragon capsule’s toilet, which is currently docked to the ISS after flying them there in April.

During SpaceX’s Inspiration4 flight, a toilet leak was detected aboard the Crew Dragon capsule.

The exact date of the Crew-2 mission’s return to Earth has yet to be confirmed, although it is expected to be in the weeks following the arrival of the Crew-3 mission to the ISS.

Undergarments are common for astronauts, according to Stich, and they’re normally worn as a backup in spaceflight. According to a Space article, Stich stated, “Our objective is to not use the system at all for the return trip home because of what we’ve observed with the fluids we’re talking about.”

According to Space, he continued, “We have other tools to allow the crew to execute the activities they require.” “Coming home is a quick mission.”

The time it takes to return from the ISS to Earth in a Crew Dragon spacecraft varies. According to Space, SpaceX’s first crewed flight, Demo-2, took a little over 19 hours to return to Earth in August 2020, while the Crew-1 journey in May lasted about seven hours.
