Registration and proposal submission lines for ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 to be available between November 20, 2023 and December 15, 2023; final onsite competition is planned for August 2024
The Indian Space Research Organisation constantly provides opportunities to academia and the industry to contribute innovative ideas for various organizational activities. With successful missions like Chandrayaan-3, ISRO is now gearing up for further robotic exploration missions to the Moon.
In line with such visions, ISRO is presenting the ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024. The U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC)/ISRO is inviting the Indian student community to share and present their innovative ideas and designs for developing a Space Robot. The invitation is inclusive of both hardware and software aspects of a Space Robot. The Challenge invites students to design a Wheeled/Legged Rover for future Moon Missions.
In recent developments, ISRO updated that the registration and proposal line will be open for interested participants between November 20, 2023, and December 15, 2023. ISRO has planned the URSC Bengaluru Campus to be the Venue for the final onsite competition. The final onsite competition is planned for August 2024.
