Today is official start of astronomical winter have a look of some of the spectacular images captured from ISS

You must have heard this “winter is coming” if you are not a GOT fan. But we are to talk about an astronomical winter. Yes, you read right, it’s an astronomical winter and it is called Winter Solstice. NASA Earth shared some of the images captured from the ISS. These images show nothing but the formation of icy layers over different portions of Earth. NASA Earth wrote “today is the #WinterSolstice, aka the official start of astronomical winter”.

Over the years astronauts have taken multiple images from space.

This image belongs to the Delmarva Peninsula when an astronaut aboard the ISS snapped the photograph on January 30, 2022.

These images are the reflection of global warming too because of this we are observing severe temperature fall and rise all across the globe that is affecting biodiversity. These images captured over time can be instrumental in the future to see the timely effect of human intervention in nature.
